Trump Establishes New 45 Website

Former President Donald Trump has a new website.

He and his wife, former first lady Melania Trump, announced on Monday the creation of 45office.com, a reference to Trump being the 45th president.

There isn’t much to it yet, but there are pages for the public and press to submit correspondence and inquiries.

“The Office of Donald J. Trump is committed to preserving the magnificent legacy of the Trump Administration, while at the same time advancing the America First agenda,” the homepage says. “Through civic engagement and public activism, the Office of Donald J. Trump will strive to inform, educate, and inspire Americans from all walks of life as we seek to build a truly great American Future. Through this office, President Trump will remain a tireless champion for the hardworking men and women of our great country — and for their right to live in safety, dignity, prosperity, and peace.”

The “about” page is the most fully fleshed out portion of the website, bearing rosy assessments of the couple’s accomplishments.

There’s no mention of another run for the White House. Trump said this month on Fox News he’ll make a decision about that after the 2022 midterm elections.

“President Trump knows that as long as we remain faithful to our citizens, our country, and our God, then America’s best days are yet to come,” the page says.

Trump, who is now living at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, was removed from a slew of social media in January after the U.S. Capitol riot. But he is expected to return to social media in the next few months with “his own platform,” Jason Miller, an adviser to the former president, recently said on Fox News.

Earlier in the evening on Monday, Trump released a statement in which he attacked Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx, describing the former members of his COVID-19 task force as “self promoters” with “bad instincts” after they criticized his handling of the coronavirus pandemic in a TV documentary.
